Chandigarh is the Capital City of Punjab And Haryana. The nearby Rock Garden is a park featuring sculptures made of stones, recycled ceramics and industrial relics. India’s first planned city, is a rich, prosperous, spic and span, green city rightly called “ THE CITY BEAUTIFUL ”. Chandigarh, the dream city of India’s first Prime Minister, Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru, was planned by the famous French architect Le Corbusier. The city tops the union territories of India and is significant as it has the highest per capita income as compared to other union territories of the country.
